Order Processing & Shipping Policy

A practical walkthrough of how orders move from checkout to doorstep — covering preparation windows, delivery estimates, fees, tracking, and what happens when things go wrong.

Processing Domestic Delivery International Fees Tracking Claims

What This Policy Covers

Once an order is confirmed, it passes through several stages before reaching you: preparation in the warehouse, handover to a carrier, transit, and final delivery. This page sets out realistic expectations for each stage, along with the terms that apply to shipping charges, international consignments, and situations where a parcel is delayed, damaged, or lost.

All timeframes quoted below are estimates rather than guarantees. Where a term conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection rule in your jurisdiction, the applicable law prevails.

Order Preparation Windows

Preparation begins once payment has been fully authorised. The usual turnaround is described below.

1–3 business days Standard preparation window
Next business day Start point for weekend and holiday orders
Peak periods May extend preparation slightly during major sales

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays enter the queue on the next working day. During high-volume events such as seasonal promotions, preparation may take an extra day or two. Where a significant delay is foreseen, the team will reach out to let you know.

Preparation time is separate from transit time. A parcel handed to a carrier on day two may still spend several days in transit depending on destination and service chosen.

Delivery Coverage

Delivery is offered to a range of destinations, and the checkout page will confirm whether an address qualifies before payment is taken.

Domestic Delivery

Coverage across the full United States, including all states and territories. Multiple service levels are normally offered, from standard to expedited.

International Delivery

A curated list of international destinations is supported, and the range is reviewed periodically. If a specific country does not appear as a shipping option at checkout, write to support@vejastore.com with the intended address, and the team will confirm whether an arrangement can be made.

Service Levels and Transit Estimates

Transit durations are counted from the date of dispatch, not the date the order was placed. Carrier performance, weather, and — for cross-border shipments — customs procedures can all affect the actual delivery date.

Within the United States

  • Standard: typically 5–10 business days in transit
  • Expedited: typically 2–5 business days in transit

International

  • Standard international: typically 7–20 business days in transit

The exact options available to you, together with their estimated arrival windows, are displayed at checkout before the order is submitted.

Shipping Charges

Fees are calculated automatically at checkout, based on three factors:

  • The full destination address
  • The delivery service selected
  • The combined weight and dimensions of the items in the order

Any applicable promotions — such as free shipping above a threshold — are shown clearly at checkout before payment is confirmed. No charge is applied without being visible on that summary screen.

Tracking and Consignment Updates

Once an order leaves the warehouse, a dispatch notice is sent to the email address on file. It contains the carrier name and a tracking reference, which can be entered on the carrier's site for live status.

Tracking data may take up to 24–72 hours to become active on the carrier's platform after the dispatch notice is issued. If the reference is not recognised immediately, checking again after a short interval usually resolves the issue.

Where a parcel shows no movement for several days, the carrier may be processing it at an intermediate hub. If the status remains unchanged beyond a reasonable window, contact support with the order reference so the situation can be investigated.

Carrier Partners

Logistics are handled through established carriers with full tracking. The specific carrier is selected based on destination, service level, and package characteristics, and is confirmed in the dispatch notice.

Commonly used partners include national postal services and major courier networks, each offering end-to-end visibility for domestic and, where supported, cross-border shipments.

International Duties and Import Charges

For consignments delivered outside the origin country:

  • Local customs authorities may impose duties, import taxes, or administrative fees on arrival
  • Such charges are the recipient's responsibility and are not included in product prices or shipping fees
  • Where a parcel is refused or returned due to unpaid duties, any refund of the original charge may be reduced by the cost of the return leg
Before placing an international order, it is worth checking with your local customs office to understand what additional charges, if any, will apply on arrival.

Address Accuracy and Failed Delivery Attempts

Please review the delivery address carefully before confirming an order. Once a parcel is with the carrier, changes to the address are usually no longer possible.

  • If a parcel is returned due to an invalid, incomplete, or misspelled address, a re-shipping fee will apply if a second dispatch is requested
  • If no one is available at the delivery address, the carrier will normally leave a notice with instructions for rescheduling or collection
  • Parcels that remain unclaimed beyond the carrier's holding period may be returned and handled under the returns process

Damaged or Lost Consignments

All parcels are packed with care before dispatch. If a package arrives visibly damaged, or is confirmed lost in transit, please submit a claim within 7 calendar days of the expected delivery date.

To help resolve the matter quickly, please include:

  • The order reference
  • Clear photographs of the packaging and any visible damage to the contents
  • A short written description of the issue

Where the claim is accepted, you will be offered either a replacement shipment or a refund, at your preference. The original packaging should be kept until the claim is closed, since the carrier may request it as part of the investigation.

Policy Review

Shipping arrangements, carrier partnerships, and pricing structures change over time. This page is updated whenever such changes materially affect what is described here. The current version, together with the returns and privacy policies, forms the complete framework for any order placed through this site.
